CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY!!!!!!!

HELLO!!!!! So CHRISTMAS came super early for me this year, thanks to my older brother (you da real MVP) lol. I decided to get the Clarisonic PLUS,and was lucky enough to get a HOLIDAY SET for 20% off too -- so only $155 after tax, just like the price of a MIA 2. I really did contemplate on which one to get,but decided on the PLUS :) I will further explain why in future videos. I've had it for almost 3-4 weeks now,and I love it -- don't even have to exfoliate no more.

This is the device I chose at the time, I made the purchase on THANKSGIVING and received it five days later ^^ When I purchased this, I also noticed the they now have a MIA 3,which is much more expensive...like whuttt???

I originally wanted the lavender color,but it did not come with the HOLIDAY set,so I decided the extras would be more worth it,and I'm loving the color. I forgot to mention that along with the 20% off,I was able to get a free head brush too,so I went for DELICATE since I have sensitive skin,and did not know if the SENSITIVE brush would gentle enough :) I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.

I was introduced to the CLARISONIC a few years ago, by BUBZBEAUTY because she had done a review on it, and I've wanted this since then.I even thought about purchasing it at a cheaper price through ebay,but I heard that some of them are fake,so I didn't want to risk it. Besides they were having an awesome sale at the time for CLARISONIC.

GO AWAY ACNE!!!!

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIII GAAAAAAAAAAAAIS :p
I don't think I've talked about my huge huge acne breakout (for me)...like ever, but you did see my last post, and let's all agree my skin was not in it's best condition. WHO LIKES ACNE? NO ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started breaking out really badly after coming back home from California in August (spent two weeks there)....and while I was there my skin was NEVER improving, it would stay the same (with pimples here and there, some were growing), or it would just progressively worsen -- no matter what I did, it was just totally not working at all!!

I was frustrated because my skin had cleared up quite well before going to California, and I was looking forward to a cleaner complexion, but NO!!! I didn't eat the best while in California, okay!! Like who would pass on such good food? Also experienced KOREAN BBQ and ate octopus for the first time in my life (not a really big fan, just not for sea food in general) -- I KNOW BOOHOO.

So anyways, I came back home for SOCAL,and my skin started to improve way more, it was starting to clear up, and then BAAAM huge breakout, even on my cheeks -- seriously the first time in my life that I've ever broken out on my cheeks? Picture is a bit graphic though....here it is:

Okay, I admit this isn't severe acne, but for me this is because it's the worse condition my skin has ever been in. This was when my skin was also doing a bit better, I just can't find the earlier ones, I'll see if I can find them.

Yes, I went to school like this -- only with my skincare layered right on top, with no concealer, foundation,bb cream whatsoever -- I put my skin out there...it's not like I didn't care, I did. I never really cared about what people thought about myself or my skin -- if I'm comfortable then I'm happy. But there were many people who would point it out, like "Janie, you're breaking out! OMG."

Don't worry guys, we are human and human beings are allowed to break out, we aren't meant to be perfect. Now that my skin has recovered, and now that I look back -- man it really was bad, like my bumps were literally three-dimensional??? like you could see it like "Standing up/out'?? is that the correct term, but you know what -- I would rather let people see it openly than hiding it behind makeup just making it worse for my skin. I will do a video on items I used soon!!! So if you're excited comment below or give this a "+1" ??? yaaaaas, :) lol. Don't be insecure about such silly things that people make fun of you for, our human bodies do amazing things to help us get better -- be who you want to be, no actually be yourself!! Junior Year -- Class of 2016!!

Hello ladies and gents -- back from being M.I.A.
Life has been hectic and going to be stressful (even more) from now on. I can feel it -- well they do say that Junior yr has to be one of the hardest, and it's only been the start! I've survived two weeks of junior year so far -- with three IB quizzes just last Friday, IMPRESSIVE! lol.

Picture day is tomorrow, and I really have no care in the world about dressing up, I mean I'll still look cute right? -- lol, so full of myself, but jk :p I mean I guess maybe makeup my face a little bit? or nah? I'm too lazy to wake up earlier than my usual 6am alarm. So people who know me, may know that I get ready quite fast, but I am slow to start getting ready -- see the problem here? For example, my parents will tell me to get ready like 45 minutes before going somewhere, but when do I really get myself ready and prepared -- yepp, when already starts to put on their shoes, and get going to the car...yeah I procrastinate at almost everything..BUT I am able to write this blog post cause I did all ma homework (well partially, like 89%? lol.)

Anyways, my one year blogiversary has passed, and I wasn't able to blog then b/c I was in California w/ no wifi -- I know it sucks! But California was fun, but really hot, and filled with some yummy food, and claustrophobia hit me in the car -- like I was super uncomfortable, and couldn't wait to get home. I will talk about that in another post :) PROMISEEEE? I am also planning to update my blog every Friday/Saturday, and plan to make a schedule for blogposts ^_^

My skin has been doing very bad, to the point where I"m seeing my Doctor regarding it tomorrow, but has gotten better -- will talk about that in another post too :) lol.

My life update.

Hello hello! I sincerely apologize for my lack of updates because a lot of things have happened ever since! I last updated in May about EXO and the departure of Kris. SO SO many things have happened since then -- I am no longer a sophomore but am now a junior (which means I'm halfway there!). I am so excited but at the same time very worried because it is going to be a stressful year, but we can get through it!

I also have summer homework -- which I still need to work on. I am going to be taking Physics IB , so I am quite nervous -- I am not a math genius, but I sort of like math because it gives me a satisfying feeling when I am able to solve a problem! (need to review my Algebra 2 lessons lol.) I have also been having lack of updates because my ACER CHROMEBOOK (I will be doing a review on this soon) died on me (not literally), there's just a malfunction with the screen so it's all glitchy and stuff now....I am currently typing this on my Macbook ^_^ It is not the newest version, it is from 2007/2008, and is refurbished because I will be getting a new laptop in two years anyways, and besides I only need it for schoolwork,social media, kdramas, and of course da blog.

Here is a skin update. My skin did not do so well during the middle of June because I broke out with a  huge pimple right smacked in the middle of my forehead! It was so big that I couldn't tell if it really was a pimple or a mosquito bite!!!! But my sisterinlaw gave me this medication like a few days ago, and I swear it's like magic...I woke up and literally the pimple(s) shrunk and the redness was gone, and now it's just waiting to diminish. I am literally so happy because clear skin just makes moi happy happy ^_^

I don't think I'll be able to upload anymore photos, or at least that of good quality (may have to use iPod) because my Macbook doesn't have a SD card slot, and the HDMI doesn't work with syncing photos( at least I don't know how to). I will try my best!

I am also going to California on Saturday night (road-trip) and I am seriously so excited! I really want to go to Korea Town in L.A., but we'll see what happens! I am super excited! This will conclude my update and I will make sure to update more (and maybe more kdramas and kpop posts in the future!) Comments are welcomed don't forget ^_^ OHH and I also turned 16 on June 18, I was planning to update then but I was busy babysitting! My apologies again!

EXO - "WE ARE ONE" #webelieveinyouKris

Hello guys sorry for the long waited post I promised a week ago but never came...I've just had a really bad week...like really bad. This a KPOP(EXO) related post.

I think my KPOP feels (kpop fans should know ;] ) downgraded when I got the sudden news of EXO's Kris filing a lawsuit looking to nullify his contract. I was in disbelief, I wanted to believe that this was coming from an unreliable source...but reality really hit when it was confirmed by reliable sources. EXOTICS, you know you wanted to deny this, but we have to face reality sooner or later right? Guys, to me this is a very serious matter...I guess you must think I'm just a crazy EXO freak, but NO. This has got to be one of my most favorite  KPOP groups...especially after I watched EXO SHOWTIME..the feels would just not end...and I knew why...I love these dorky boys that look so hot,sexy, and charismatic on stage, but can be so dorky and clumsy when they are with themselves.

I have seen people commenting about how this is Kris' fault for being a selfish person -- really guys? We know better than that, Kris is a considerate caring person, that's why he is the papa of EXO. Of course I am also thinking about how the other members are feeling, I mean imagine what we are feeling, they must feel even worse. They are ONE, if I think about one of them, I think about ALL OF THEM. I have NEVER been so devoted to a KPOP Boy group...I know it's crazy I never thought I would be so in love. Somewhere, somehow Kris just seems to attract me, even through his dorky stoopid ways. I always feel a bit sad when I don't see him appear on a show with the EXO members. Kris may not be an ultimate bias...heck I like all of them, I mean who they heck has an UB when it comes to EXO!??? They all attract me one way or the other, you know they all have amazing personalities. Kris is also one of my friend's ultimate bias...so we are taking this news quite devastatingly.

I am still speechless and devastated...we have not gotten much from SM either...just some rumors that left me guessing...you know what's true and what isn't? I've never been so happy when I got to know them more, but literally ever since watching EXO ST...you do not know how much I spazz and fangirl over them...like everyday at school that's all my friends and I really talk about - E-X-O.

You know the scandal where the EXO members unfollowed Kris on social media? So now we are left to
guess whether it was really them or the staff?  I honestly do not know, but do you really think EXO would do that? We are now shocked by this sudden news and now confused as to why there are so many random posts from the other members....like is it really them trying to express their true feelings?you
know it's quite scary...for example it could be anyone behind that post using their account. Hey it's the internet, not everything can be believable. People are asking why Kris is filing this lawsuit during promotions of "Overdose"...well maybe he's starting to feel it coming on again...you know they hectic packed schedule that is going on without his say in anything...remember TAO BABY -- who had to perform even though he had a fever? &he still put on a smile.. but we knew he was sick, and having to dance in that condition...heck I get a fever, I lay down and I'm still unhappy. It seems like Kris must be concerned for the health of his members too. sometimes I wonder if being an idol is really all that, like how we imagine it to be.

This is all I feared all a long....this what I don't like...a disbandment or when someone leaves the group...heck even if they are enlisting in the army and coming back...I feel like I've lost a piece of me. I don't think I want to put my feelings on the line again ~~~~

All in all, whatever Kris chooses to do, I will believe and have faith in him. I have respect for him putting a smile on even through hard times, and not being able to express it. I have seen an article that is relating to the concerns of Kris' health. I hope that gege recovers and gets enough rest. EXOTICS, keep in mind that our YiFan is still young, and very talented too...he still has a lot going for him. So please show him and EXO your support and remember that we are ONE , and we are all in this together. I love all the bonding that this group has had together, and I wish that they will stay as ONE as a twelve member group.

I know it's cliche as I tell my friends, if Kris or anyone of them members leave EXO WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN...at least in my point of view. Especially the feelings I have felt towards the group. I hope things work out between Kris, EXO , and SM . WE ARE STILL 12 = ONE NOT 11. I am waiting for more news, and I hope that Kris will get the much needed rest. Kris not being the tallest member? NOT HAPPENING HE WILL ALWAYS BE THE TALLEST MEMBER AND THE LEADER OF EXO-M.






Thank you, Kris, for doing so much for us Exotics, for trying to please everybody. You are the Galaxy, and you are just my style. I heard that fried chicken is your style now? ^_^ I hope all is well and I wish that you have a fast and speedy recovery. REST REST REST REST and FIGHTING. HAPPY FEBRUARY !

Hello hello ! It's been forever since I've updated -_- I apologize . It's already February, and I'm already halfway done with Sophomore year of high school . . . gasp*** time flies. WOW. Already a month into the new year, 2014. It's Sunday, and I just finished my homework an hour ago, and it feels good :P Do you ever feel like that?  Plus a selfie to start this post ^_^

Guess what I cooked this weekend? Fried dumplings , or as you may know it POTSTICKERS ^_^It was so good! I got mines at Cub Foods for $6.99 and there's almost 50 pieces! WOW amazing price :)

I boiled it in hot water for a minute first . 

Then I pan fried them, looking so yummay!

Results in this amazing thing, it's one of my favorite snacks/food.

I like to dip it in a pepper fish sauce sauce,just so there will be some spice to it.It tastes amazing with that.

You just need some raw peppers (minced) , cilantro (minced), fish sauce, and salt, then just salt them to taste. PHEW LOVE LOVE IT. I also had some for lunch today. Oh, I made these on Saturday :)

The most satisfying taste ever, I'm sorry I love food :)

FINALS ARE OVER !

ELLO MATE ! Yes, yes finals for school have been officially over for quarter 2 ! I haven't been able to update my blog in like forevaaaaa because I've been busy busy studying for all those tests. But phew I'm relieved that's done and over with, and now I'm just checking everyday to check my finals grades for quarter 2 ! &&&& I have a new school schedule now! I can't wait to see who I have class with, I fear that I might not no anyone, but it's just another opportunity to make new friends because I have made new friends in this first semester. This has been the longest week for me yet. I hope that you ladies&gents kicked butt on those finals,and got A++++++++ ^_^ We have a four day weekend so yeah,and I only have French homework.

Sadly, the reveal will not be on this post,but it's a pretty simple reveal,not EXOtic or anything ^_^ (see what I did there?) ;)

No makeup at all! Viola , I only curled my very short stubborn lashes. I think my dark circles are improving ^_^ BTW I need to go get my eyebrows threaded, I have thick sparse eyebrows -_-

OMGAAAAAAAAAAH, so on Friday I got this a Cub's Food out of curiosity because I LOVEE CHOCOLATE,and this is sssssssoooooooooo goooood. So rich,and creamy and nice texture with the almonds. How could I not have known?I need to go get some more desperately ......This is called Cadbury Dairy Milk Roast Almond. I love almonds! btw now sponsored or anything. Just crazy girl and her love for chocolate.

I had another manicure the other day,but now it's all chipped. At first when I put this mint color on I was like, OMG this is so uglaaay. CRIES *****,but then when I put the sparkly glitter on my ring finger it was like wow so pretty ^_^

I tried cleaning my beauty drawer the other day.....yes it's a mess...this is the life of a girl who's rushing to get out the door,who has to walk what feels like the Great Wall Of China until I can reach my bus stop.

WOW, pretty impressive,the top drawer is where I like to store the things I use the most...I barely wear makeup,but I just like to put it there to feel more ladylike ^_^ (well in my terms yes:) )

Bottom drawer still a wreck, too lazy to clean lah ! ^_^

Well that's about it, just a quick update about moi life. I just signed up for the National French Exam,so best wishes to those who are doing it too!

Beach day & pool ad

       How have you been? I hope you're doing excellent! I am doing fine as always! So, today was a beautiful day, so my siblings and I went to the beach, and the ride there was EXTREMELY HOT, and I don't sweat easily, but I was sweating like crazy in that car! -_- We were planning on going to a different beach, but we couldn't find it, so we just wasted basically twenty minutes in that hot weather trying to find that beach, and so we just ended up at the beach where we actually knew where it was!

We brought along our dog, Fritter, thinking that we were going to a different beach, but nope, so we had to send him home...:( But it was better for him because Fritter must have been really really hot.

While I was in one of the bathroom stalls, and there was an ad - about pools, it was about the water that had germs, pee, and all disgusting things in there, that we will never know -____- DUN DUN DUN! SO DO NOT DRINK THE POOL WATER, and you are actually swimming in germs -_-  Even the pools with chlorine is not clean enough, in my opinion. But I had a fun day swimming at the beach, and covering my siblings in sand! ^_^

So, I am at home now, and I just ate about an hour ago - when I got home. And I am feeling tired now, and recently I've been watching the Korean drama, Master's Sun, and it's soooooooo good. Like how long has it been since I've found such an enjoyable drama! Oh, and I'm also watching Good Doctor, Moon Chae Won is too beautiful!

 I've got to be honest though, whenever Gong Hyo-jin sees ghosts I freak out, I am terrified of pop-ups, I hate them. But the romance and comedy is so worth the little snippets of the horror in there! The dog scene was so touching, and quite sad because I LOVE OUR DOG, and animals in general! So Ji-sub is such a hottie, and one of my favorite actors, apart from Lee Min Ho of course, oh and I can't wait for the k-drama Heirs! Okay, enough of my spazzing!

So, I created this look because I was bored. I was trying to film it but the battery died, and my memory card ran out of space! Such bad timing! But I used white eyeliner to line my eyes because white eyeliner can make your eyes seem brighter, bigger, more awake, refreshed, etc. You can also look more doll-like with the white eyeliner, I also used a turquoise color (just a tiny bit in the outer corners) for a pop of color! And then some mascara, and I also put some eye-rhinestones on my eyes! I really liked this look! I shall make a tutorial if I can...would you like to see how to create this look? This was about five, six days ago.

Despicable Me 2

Today was my youngest brother's eleventh birthday. Wow kids these days do grow up fast. So we went to AMC and watched Despicable Me 2! Which I was really excited about! The minions are seriously super cute, and I would love one or as many as I can get for myself. Who wouldn't want one? Past week has been devastating :( But we, as humans move on in life. School will also be starting in just exactly two weeks. I will be a sophomore then, and I am excited yet nervous. It's going to get harder and harder, but we can do it.

This will just be a short update, and I've really wanted to review many drugstore beauty products I have, but I can never find the time to do it right now. I would also like to take the time to thank all the people who are reading my blog, even it is only one or two views a day. Thanks for taking a little bit of your day to read my not interesting blog. BORED TODAY, and it's about 9:30 at night here ... I should be tired, but nope , not at all :(

My mother made us some yummy salad today!Maybe the only time when I will eat cherry tomatoes (but it was really good,I should really consider eating it more often).

I love boiled eggs, so this really explains it,and I love the dressing.YUMMY Fulfilling meal!(I want more!!!!!)

Eggs,lettuce,cucumber,and cherry tomatoes.Oh and some crushed roasted peanuts for some really good texture,and more yummy-ness.

I went to the store and got a neon nail lacquer today, it's a pretty pink color. I will talk about this in later posts, but I love the color,and pink!

had too much to eat today...

Hiyaaaaa! I was barely home today, unlike yesterday. I had a mighty fine day, hope you did too! Listening to Shinee's Boys Meet U song, lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvving it. Oh and I currently have on a facial peel off mask on, and it's so cool and fun to peel off , #winwin.

I literally ate tons of food today, well like I usually do everyday...I had some snickers ice cream,cheetos fries,shrimp fried rice,fried shrimp,taro bubble tea,eggrolls,and it goes on, I kind of forgot what I even ate. o.O My skin condition is getting "worse", well I can see why look at what I'm eating. I don't think I'll be able to eat these foods ever again (this is a lie, not a fact, I will still eat it...so like me), I just get sick of the food that day if I've already had too much , like the bubble tea for example, it was too sweet for my liking. 

Oh hey , have you guys met my horse dog PUPPY , Fritter !? Because he is too adorable! Okay, he's a dog, but still a puppy,and so cuteeeeee & lovable.

items arrived & ice cream !!!!!!

Hello ladies and gents, how are you guys doing todaaaaaay? Well I'm doing very fine today actually, and I'm quite happy today, if you even care , hahahahahhaha. But today has not a been a very productive day, I have not gone out today, well I did go to the grocery store once today, and that was about it... I'm currently listening to Girls' Generation's - Love & Girls, it's such a cute song! nananananananananananan! 123 :)

Well some of my items arrived today, that was ordered online, and I was so excited when I saw the FedEx truck pull up! OKAY , I waited four days , which we really looooooooooooong for me because I was really excited about trying out my cleansing system! When all my items arrive , I shall blog about it. I can't wait until all of the items arrive this week...I don't know , I'm just so weird...and I can't wait to cleanse my face today ! ^^

Oh yeah, I went to the grocery store today, and I got some of my most faaaaavoritee ice cream, and ice cream is one of my weaknesses because I just simply LOOOVE it, so nice to eat on a bright sunny day ! :)

It is the BEN&JERRY's STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE, OMGAAAH . I LOVE IT SO MUCH, I'm literally on cloud nine when I eat this, hahahaha. I love, love this, and I eat tons of ice cream, when I get the chance that is. :) But this made my day so much better! I can finish this all by myself, simply because I love ice cream , okay , nuff said.

Gloomy Weather

      The weather here has been pretty gloomy - these past few days. It looks like it's going to rain today, well that's what I heard. I need to start watching the news more often, even though I wake up late...I can always check the weather forecast online though! It's a bit chilly here too, our air conditioning has not been put to use a lot lately,and I may just go back to my comfy warm sweatpants! ^_^

      Does it not look gloomy, or what? So many clouds, I think like three days ago, there were clear blue skies, and very few clouds, with the bright sun shining out. I dislike lightening and thunder, I know I'm not alone here, but I do like the rain however (wants to go and dance out in the rain)! I wore shorts out today, thinking it wasn't going to be that chilly, but nope I was totally wrong. My goosebumps just got worse. I will now turn to my sweatpants. It's only July, well near the end of July, but still it's only JULY. I didn't get to do much today, but I ate some really yummy foods today, some of my favorites. :)

      My pimple scars have also been improving, and it's starting to fade a bit now! But I do feel like my skin is not doing very good right now though, I see some little pimples appearing !!! >:| I also bought some stuff the other day,and I can't wait for it to arrive! A little anticipation for the week to come, and my camera charger came in today! YUSSSSHHHH ! 

      A weird expression on my face, but I feel like my scars are improving, and the toothpaste has also helped a lot! Hopefully tomorrow will be a much brighter day than the gloomy weather/day we had here today. 

      Look at those clouds, now let's hope for some Mr.SUNSHINE tomorrow !

CLEAN & CLEAR Advantage Acne Control Kit 

      Hello there guys,so today I wanted to review this Acne kit from the brand Clean & Clear.Let's face it nobody likes it when their face breaks out,let alone having a pimple on your face is a NO NO. So let's get to it,everybody has different skin types,so what works and what does not work for me,may work or may not work for you. I have dry and sensitive skin, so moisturizing is not an option, it is a must,and a must for everyone too! I actually started to break out a bit on my t-zone when I was about twelve years old,and I picked at my skin a lot,which worsened it.So once upon a time,I came upon this kit,and my mother bought this for me-my very first breakthrough in skincare products.

      This kit did not do me any good in the beginning because the problem was I would always touch my t-zone because this break out was making me feel so insecure, even though it was not very visible.So this was no good because who knows what I've touched with my hands,all the bacteria that are on my hands.So I decided to give it a go again, and I did my best to not touch my t-zone, and oh my gosh, my skin started to clear up,and my skin was almost like baby smooth. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.

      

      I especially love this cleanser,it leaves a nice cool, tingly feel on your face when you cleanse your face,and it smells kind of minty too!My only wish is that CLEAN & CLEAR would sell this cleanser separately because I don't want to pay $19.99 again,for the whole kit.I feel like the cleanser does a lot for me.

     However, the acne control moisturizer is a different story.I don't like it really,but it helps with my acne though. The downside however,is that it leaves my skin really dry after many uses.I noticed that my skin started to get flaky,and it was disgusting,some people also pointed it out.It looked like my skin was peeling.At times when I apply this on,there was an uncomfortable burning sensation on my face,but keep in mind I have dry,SENSITIVE skin,and it bothered me a lot.I would not recommend the moisturizer though.

     I love, love , love the advantage fast clearing spot treatment though!It is just like magic.You see a pimple coming up,apply it the night before, and viola a smaller pimple- that usually disappears two days after.I love this product, it is like a lifesaver!

      This kit lasted me for about a month,and this year actually,I started to break out on my t-zone again,due to a cleanser I was using,and I had to go and buy this again.It still works wonder for my skin,but I am still not in favor of the moisturizer.

      So,to sum it all up this is an amazing starter acne kit,but I don't like the moisturizer-it could have been better,but I love the cleanser and the spot treatment. I highly recommend this kit,once again! It is a bit on the pricey side,for a teenager like me,I bought this at my local drugstore for $19.99, but you can also purchase this kit online for $16.97, at Walmart.com! I believe there are also coupons, to help you save some dollars. I hope this review was helpful!Thanks for reading!
